Combining seventeen years as a marketing professional with
training and education in both business and the arts, Carolyn Keesh, president of Powered by i, has focused her company on helping her clients improve their performance by applying creative and innovative thinking in relevant ways and for enhanced results.

Within the fifteen years of running her own company, Carolyn has evolved her business from her initial roots in marketing consulting, branding, new product development, and integrated marketing communications to being a specialist in creativity and innovation. She has worked on strategic development and new product concepts of numerous brands across a wide variety of industries and product categories including Unilever, The Loyalty Group, Labatt Breweries, Warner Lambert, Oliviera, Cadbury (Canada and UK), Irving Tissue, Kellogg’s, Sunkist Growers (US), Novartis, Sprint, Concord Confection, MT&T, Royal Bank, Southam, Bank of Montreal, Pharma Plus Drugmarts, and Davis + Henderson. Her early days in business began in the advertising world, working for J. Walter Thompson on the Pepsi account and prior to that, for PIR Advertising on various tourism accounts, such as The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Thai Airways, and Thomson Vacations.
Upon specializing in creativity and innovation, Carolyn expanded her service offerings as a principal designer of corporate programs, a professional facilitator, and an expressive art coach. She has a B.Comm degree with a triple major in Marketing, Finance, and General Business, is trained in a variety of creative problem solving models and techniques, has a Certificate in Expressive Arts, and is a Certified Advertising Agency Practitioner.
When Carolyn takes time out from helping her clients discover their creative potential, she develops her own through her hobbies of watercolour painting, writing, exploring nature, and attending workshops outside her comfort zone for “the experience”. Carolyn has built a canoe, written a book, and is currently attaining her Certificate in Dance Studies.
